Seeing someone again after a long time, listening to old favourite songs or recalling places and images that one associates with happy memories: this triggers either well-being or a feeling of unease in many people. Julian Zörfusz attempts to musically interpret this rare interplay of familiarity, longing, sadness, but also happiness and exuberance with this piece.
The polka is dedicated to three special people: Julia, Stefanie and Thomas. They have walked a challenging path together with Julian, which unfortunately separated them from each other. Even if they can no longer see each other now, that will surely change one day in the distant future.

Julian Zörfusz, born in 1997, comes from Neckenmarkt in the so-called Mittelburgenland. Before he could read music, he was already able to play a polka or two on the drums.
