Zum 55-jährigen Jubiläum Musikverlag RUNDEL
In 2019, RUNDEL Music Publications is celebrating a 'little' jubilee: For 55 years now we have been able to support you, our customers, in designing your repertoire with works from all areas of wind music. Throughout the ages, there has been a steady, vibrant development that does not end today and will not lose sight of valuable traditions in the future.
The symbol for this is the present polka "Ehrenwert", which Martin Scharnagl composed on the occasion of the anniversary: Scharnagl - one of our younger authors - has already provided a lot of fresh wind in our publishing program with his music – but always on the basis of our long-established publishing philosophy. His new polka concertante masterfully combines elements of traditional wind music with influences from symphonic and pop music - in line with our philosophy that vision and preservation are not mutually exclusive. In light of the jubilee, we truly believe that this is "worthy of honor"!
