Winnetou und Old Shatterhand Melodie In the 1960's, the movie scores for the Karl Movies made Martin Böttcher the most successful German movie composer. The "Old Shatterhand" theme from the movie "Der Schatz im Silbersee" was No. 1 in the German charts for 17 weeks in 1962 and was sold more that 100.000 times. That was a first in German music history. The "Winnetou" theme from the second Winnetou movie was also very popular. Manfred Schneider chose the two main themes of the blood brothers for hist wonderful band adaption.
