The movie „As it is in Heaven“ tells the story of the famous conductor Daniel Dareus, who returns to his Swedish home village to physically and mentally recover from a heart attack. He takes over the lead of the local church choir and faces the joys and sorrows of its various members. His commitment and music helps those people and himself to find new meaning and deeper joy in their lives. Lena, a beautiful and lighthearted young woman, makes a major contribution to Daniel’s new courage in life and they begin a tender love relationship.
