Since 40 years, the "Oberschwaebischen Dorfmusikanten" (Upper Swabian Village Musicians) have mastered the art of delighting their audience time and time again. It was born in 1983 at the Südwestfunk harbor concert. In the meantime they have taken part in more than 100 live broadcasts by many radio stations, have given countless guest performances at home and abroad, have regularly reached the top of the radio and television hit parades and have produced numerous recordings. In doing so, they have developed their own unmistakable style of folk music, to which around 100 of Peter Schad's own compositions have contributed. Highlights of their concert programs are virtuoso solo pieces and performances by the singer Carina Kienle (Conny Schuler's successor).
