Ballad The „Irish Dream“ begins with a soft and dreamy melody depicting the natural and beautiful landscape of Ireland. That theme reapears throughout the whole piece. As a contrast we hear a distinctive theme symbolizing the rutted cliffs and the rough winds that sweep across the island every once in a while. This contrasting theme should not be played too hard, so the piece still creates a musical entity.
