Prozessionsmarsch "Gott zur Ehre" (God to Honor) is a well-known processional march by Siegfried Rundel that wonderfully suites festive church occasions.
In Central Europe and particularly in Southern Germany, bands accompany catholic processions. They perform hymns or processional marches to support devotion and to make it easier for the people to solemnly walk together. The road and the houses on the way often show beautiful decoration like flags, twigs and flowers. Especially in the Alpine areas of Germany and Austria they carry on those traditions for centuries. To support this tradition, RUNDEL published a number of wonderful processional marches over the years.
