Main Theme
"East Of Eden" was an American TV Mini Series that aired in February of 1981. It was based on a novel of the same name written by John Steinbeck in 1952. The musical score was written by Television and Film composer Lee Elwood Holdridge. The main theme is very lyrical and melodic, with beautiful harmonies and intertwining counterpoint, all woven together with a rich and soaring Orchestration. The Finale presentation of the main theme starts out softly and sparsely, slowly building to a very powerful and spectacular finish. American composer and arranger James L. Hosay has written a Wind Band arrangement that captures all of the beauty, splendor and magnitude of this stirring film score.
