Commissioned by the Horikoshi High School Wind Orchestra (Japan), this piece reflects and expresses the Sagrada Familia as a symbol of Jesus' life. His birth, devotion, passion and Glory are the central themes that are to be found as well in the history of this Church.
The Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família (Basilica and Expiatory Church of the Holy Family) is a large unfinished Roman Catholic church in Barcelona designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926).
Tubular bells are said to be placed in the towers, driven by the power of the wind and driving the sound into the interior of the church. Gaudí carried out acoustic studies to obtain the corresponding acoustic results inside the temple.
