Michael Klostermann is a fixture in the folk band music scene and gained fame through his unique interpretation of traditional Bohemian music. In 1984 he founded his own ensemble from a group of outstanding musicians, which quickly became the epitome of authentic, passionate music-making at the highest level under the name “Michael Klostermann und seine Musikanten“ (Michael Klostermann and his musicians). As a composer, he wrote numerous polkas, waltzes and marches. With his polka “Tage zum Traumen” (Days to Dream), which he composed together with Hans Bruss and wrote lyrics along with Simone Schwindt, he takes us into a world full of joy and lightness, in which the music invites you to dream and dance.
