A horn solo begins one bar before C, but if the high range causes difficulty, 2nd trumpet can be substituted till just before D. Other voices should play “second string” to the tuba solo at D. Since the song is so well known, tuba as well as other parts should perform with the idea that the solo melodies lead for the entire arrangement.
