The composer has dedicated this piece to his
children. From a parent’s point of view, childhood passes by too quickly. However, at other times the
days seem endless – particularly those days when children keep their parents so busy and pushed to the limit that they don’t know if they’re coming or going. Scraped knees, crayoned walls and ravaged playrooms are the ingredients for a battle of wills -a real “power play.” However, one enchanting smile from a child is enough to make the hard work worth it. This piece was written in the middle of teddy bears, toy cars and Lego bricks.
