„Lichtblicke“ by Kurt Gäble is about a feeling that is extraordinarily important:hope.
The fanfares at the beginning and the ending of the piece frame the basic composition. A very expressional and emotional main theme symbolizes hope. It reappears in several keys and dynamics - like many different rays of hope that make us draw hope from small and seemingly inconsiderable things. A dramatic middle part shows the negative happenings and feelings we often have to face: illness, losses, grief, despair and fear. But in the end hope prevails and makes us see all the small precious things and all the rays of hope in life.
