Images for Saxophone Quartet - ENMS-84050 | Muziek

Commissioned by the Kanazawa Saxophone Ensemble and premiered by its Ensemble at the 13th regular concert in Kanazawa Art Hall on 4th Nov. 2001, this work, subtitled “Memory of Winter”, describes some personal impressions of that season. It consists of five sections: I. Passage (Path in Winter), II. Twilight in the Mountain, III. Waltz, a small present to a friend starting a new life: IV. Flower (A single flower blooming alone in the snow, V. Dance (of flowers longing for spring). I hope you feel the warmth or kindness of those scenes when you have a day of cold winter.
