Norbert Gälle werd geboren op 1 maart 1964 in Weingarten. Op 13-jarige leeftijd leerde hij de tenorhoorn spelen. Tot 1987 was hij actief lid van de Musikverein Grünkraut en Musikverein Gornhofen.
