Dear tuba world, for a long time I had the idea of publishing an exercise book with the best exercises for daily use.
Corona and the consequential time off from playing now made it possible for me to put my ideas into practice.
Many of the exercises you will find in this booklet have been with me since my student days and they have helped me a lot to improve my tuba playing on a daily basis.
For me, the four most important points of practising and playing the tuba are:
Sound in conjunction with air control, articulation and attack, slurs and flexibility, and last but not least endurance.
When practising daily, you should always work on one exercise from the four points mentioned. Remember the motto:
Daily practice brings embouchure I wish you much joy and success with the exercises.
