Philip David Charles "Phil" Collins is a British drummer, singer, songwriter, producer and actor. He became known both as a member of the rock band Genesis and as a solo artist. With over 300 million records sold, he is one of the world's most successful musicians in the music industry and is ranked 26th on the Billboard Hot 100 All-Time Top Artists. In 2016, the editors of the "Rolling Stone" magazine published a list of the "100 greatest drummers of all time", on which Phil Collins ranks 43rd. Phil Collins received an Oscar and a Golden Globe in 2000 for the song "You’ll Be in My Heart" from the film Tarzan (1999).
