Norbert Gälle | Composers

Norbert Gälle was born on March 1, 1964 in Weingarten. At the age of 13 he learned to play the tenor horn. Until 1987 he was an active member of the Musikverein Grünkraut and Musikverein Gornhofen. Since 1989 he has been the first tenor horn player with the "Scherzachtaler Blasmusik". Norbert Gälle played with Wilfried Rösch, Peter Schad, Robert Payer and many other Egerland bands. In 1996 he wrote his first polka entitled "Heimweh" (Homesickness), which was followed by other pieces such as "Morgengedanken" (Morning Thoughts), "Auf und Ab" (Up and Down), "Sorgenbrecher" (Worry Breaker), "Janik", "Sehnsucht nach Dir" (Longing for You), "Grüße aus Mistrin" (Greetings from Mistrin) and the international successful polka hit "Böhmischer Traum" (Bohemian Dream).
