Berthold Schick und seine Allgäu6

The group "Berthold Schick und seine Allgäu6" was founded in 2006 by the composer, publisher, conductor and trombonist Berthold Schick - along with five brass colleagues and a percussionist, most of whom are based in the Allgäu. They have been presenting brass music of the highest standard for 15 years now. In the smallest possible instrumentation, the seven professional musicians show the greatest possible musical spectrum: The repertoire ranges from the traditional wind music rooted in Bohemia (e.g. polkas and waltzes) to classical transcriptions and big band arrangements to well-known melodies from the genres pop and film music. Numerous live performances win over the audience both through the soloistic abilities of the individual members and the special ensemble playing. But some music videos, produced by the group, in particular cause a sensation.
