(Flexible Wind Duet - for 2 Bb or C Instruments - can be combined with each other)
This edition with 12 pieces by masters of the Renaissance and Baroque wants to offer the somewhat advanced wind players literature for domestic interplay and for public lectures. Some pieces are even very suitable for worship. However, these duets are particularly valuable for teaching, where they can serve as an important supplement to train tone purity, a sense of rhythm, phrasing, tact security and the ability to listen and respond to one another.
A Tenorhorn player can therefore easily play together with a Baritone player, even though one of them uses the A version and the other uses the C version. Of course, the treble clef edition can also be used for 2 alto saxophones, 2 Eb clarinets or 2 horns in Eb.
However, no instrument with a different mood can then play along.
At this point, reference is made to the booklet "Duetto No. 2". It brings literature for a high and a low instrument (e.g. trumpet and trombone, clarinet and bassoon, flugelhorn and tenor horn, etc.).
