Karl King wrote this circus march for the famous same-named circus in 1913. The march is regarded as "Grandfather of Circus Marches". King played euphonium in many circus bands, including hte Barnum and Bailey's for more than 10 years. In his own march, King made the euphonium one of the most important parts. In his only five years of composing, this march was King's most famous piece. Audiences will thrill to the authentic sound of the circus!
